Boiler Bee Honey

Boiler Bee Honey is a Purdue University–based honey produced through the work of students who research honey bees. The program provides hands-on training in beekeeping, honey extraction, processing, and bottling, giving students practical experience that complements their academic work. Revenue from Boiler Bee Honey is reinvested directly into student wages, equipment, and bee research, supporting studies on honey bee health and the science and production of Honey. In this way, Boiler Bee Honey functions not only as a local, sustainably produced product, but also as an educational and research platform that supports workforce development and advances scientific understanding of pollinators.
