Kenneled Dog Welfare: Challenges of Field Assessment

Caretakers, kennel inspectors, auditors and others must be able to properly evaluate dogs in areas outside the laboratory environment. Four Purdue University experts contend that field-ready assessment tools could increase the number of physically, behaviorally and mentally healthy dogs.
