Utilizing Central Boar Test Stations

Explains how central boar text stations can currently be used for genetic improvement. Also describes current limitations of the test station system and how they can be overcome through implementation of breeding value estimation procedures. Goal is for central test stations to expand their role beyond that of education to that of complementing and enhancing on-farm genetic improvement programs.
