Performance of Lettuce Varieties under Cold Temperature Conditions in Greenhouse Hydroponic Production

Greenhouse hydroponics allow for year-round production of lettuce and other leafy greens, but heating can be expensive. Cold tolerance was tested for 24 varieties and found that air temperatures of 60 degrees Fahrenheit and above are needed to maximize profits during production.
