Biosecurity and Hygiene in the semen collection process

The objectives of this video are to: 1) describe and demonstrate the process of semen collection from boar, and 2) describe and demonstrate the various methods which can be employed to improve hygiene during the collection process. Upon completion of watching this video, viewers are expected to understand the process of semen collection and hygiene such that they can: Utilize the two-glove collection methods to collect semen from AI boars; identify procedures which could increase risk of contaminating semen during collection; and identify characteristics that would be considered abnormal in a semen sample.
