FoodLink℠, a FREE tool that provides immediate access via Quick Response (QR) codes that are unique to each of over 60 common fruits and vegetables from Asparagus to Zucchini and even Honey!
This tool will provide immediate access to the user about proper food selection, use, preparation, pairings, storage and a variety of other quickly accessed information including and over 300 quick and easy recipes that will encourage the incorporation of fresh fruits and vegetables into the diets of families across the U.S.
The goal of FoodLink is to increase the use of specialty crops by the consumer but will also have the indirect benefit of increasing farm sales of these crops and reducing the time vendors spend on sharing selection and preparation instructions while still providing this service to their shoppers.
FoodLink℠ has been adopted by farmers selling at farmers' markets, roadside stands, and on farm markets as well as independent grocers and other produce retailers. In addition, it has found application in food pantries; community gardens and in teach environments both formal and informal.
